NorCal SCI Center will provide post hospital clinically supervised rehabilitation therapy to the newly injured and provide the SCI community an opportunity to exercise and interact with their fellow peers at an accessible and adaptive facility.
The custom programs will give the participating individuals the opportunity to maximize their recovery over a 4 week period though intensive rehabilitation therapies up to 3hrs/day over 4 days/week. Our Goal is to provide the necessary Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Supervised Exercise Therapy for up to 40 individuals per year in our first two years of operation.
The Center will be equipped with the essential rehabilitation equipment and accessible training equipment along with some state of the art pieces.
The Center will initially be staffed by specialized SCI Physical and Occupational Therapists as well as an Exercise Trainers.
The NorCal SCI Team are currently recruiting specialized personnel and are identifying a suitable Bay Area location with a plan to open in the the Fall of 2022.
